Surface Electromyography (SEMG) |
| |
| |
Surface Electromyography (SEMG) is the measurement of muscle tension. We use this technology to help diagnose and analyze your condition better. The greater the bar length, the higher the amount of muscle tension. We use Myovision ® Surface EMG to help us detect potential problems in your spine like muscular imbalances. |

Myovision® Thermography |
| |
| |
Thermography is the measure of temperature. Temperature should be relatively even when comparing left and right sides of the spine. If there are large differences in temperature, it means blood is flowing to one site over the other, indicating possible nerve interference. We use Myovision® Thermography to help us detect potential nerve interference in your spine. |

LEANDER® MECHANICAL TRACTION |
| |
| |
Mechanical traction is performed by a table with built in machinery that stretches your lower back passively. Most patients enjoy mechanical traction as it relaxes and stretches their low back muscles and helps with joint motion in the low back. |

X-RAYS |
| |
| |
The importance of x-rays is to reveal the internal structure and alignment of the spine. We may also look for an underlying disease processes and/or disorders of the spine such as spinal deterioration, arthritis of the spine, bone spurs, disc disorders, abnormal development, tumors and spinal curvature. We have an onsite x-ray facility if x-rays are needed. |

Cryotherapy |
| |
| |
Cryotherapy is the application of cold or ice. We use cold or ice to compress and reduce swelling in the tissue. Surface cooling restricts blood flow, numbs painful areas and relaxes muscle spasms. |

THERAPY & REHABilitation SERVICES |
| |
| |
As part of your treatment plan you will receive spinal stretches and exercises that will aid in maintaining your spine between adjustments. These stretches and exercises can also be helpful in strengthening your spine so you do not have an unnecessary relapse. |
