Low Back Stretches

 
     
 

Stretches should be a gentle pull and should not cause pain. If you experience any difficulty or discomfort with any stretch, please discontinue the stretch. Perform stretches daily, as directed.

 
     
 
 
   
Single Knee to Chest Stretch  

With both knees bent, pull one knee toward chest until a comfortable stretch is felt in the lower back and buttocks.

Hold. Repeat with opposite knee.

 
     
     
     
     
   
Double Knee to Chest Stretch  

Start with both feet on the floor and knees bent. Pull both knees toward your chest until a comfortable stretch is felt in lower back.

Hold 10 seconds, then return to starting position.
